Maureen Glasoe » Writer, Editor and Project Manager Maureen is the wordsmith and detail person in The Glasoe Group duo. A 20-year communications veteran, she works closely with clients and oversees projects for accuracy, consistency and quality. A graduate of Carleton College (Northfield, Minnesota), she spent more than 10 years as a writer/editor at Rotary International before starting The Glasoe Group. Maureen has served on the board of Chicago Women in Publishing since 2000, including as president in 2003–04. She also belongs to the Chicago chapter of the American Marketing Association and regularly attends marketing and communications industry events. A former competitive swimmer, Maureen still enjoys time in the pool as well as walks along Evanston’s lakefront—even in the winter. She and Ted both serve on the board of the Southeast Evanston Association, a local organization committed to historical preservation and sustainable development. Ted Glasoe » Graphic Designer Ted brings creative, big-picture thinking to The Glasoe Group’s projects. He has 20 years of graphic design and technical experience, including with Rotary International and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. A graduate of the University of Madison-Wisconsin, he began his professional life as an actor in Chicago. He transitioned to the technology arena as a Mac software and networking trainer, shifting to the graphic design side a few years later. Ted belongs to AIGA and has been a member of the Chicago Print Production Club and the Graphic Artists Guild, which he served for a year as graphic design network director. He frequently attends design and technology seminars. An avid bicyclist and sailor, Ted enjoys being behind the lens of his camera or sitting in French class at the Alliance Française in Chicago. Since 1997, Glasoe Group partners Ted and Maureen Glasoe have brought creative yet practical communications solutions to organizations throughout the Chicago area. What Sets Us Apart?
